One of the best things about living in Cordova is groups like Cordova Arts & Pageants.  You may remember them from such posts as What’s Happening in Cordova and Salmon Jam.  They put on all kinds of great activities in town like: concerts, magicians, festivals, art shows…

But the event of the fall season is always Wearable Art.  If you’re not sure what that is, here’s a great taste of the movement:  World of Wearable Art – 2011 Winners.  But art’s not just for big cities like New York & Paris.  We’ve got our own burgeoning artist community here in Cordova, many of whom showed up at the Wearable Art event held at The Reluctant Fisherman on Friday, October 28th.  This year’s theme was “Moonstruck”.  Which is your favorite?
